GG's Blocks

Introduction

GG's Blocks (short for GNU GPL'd blocks) is an open source implementation of the Same Game for the Palm Pilot. I have tweaked the scoring and gameplay so it closely mirrors another popular clone of the Same Game found on Yahoo Games called 'Jt's Blocks'.

Notable features

• Gameplay is faithful to 'Jt's Blocks' right down to scoring, level thresholds, round size, block type frequency, number of mixers and mixer action.
• High scores and instructions.
• Supports both colour and B/W.
• Battery friendly - written to be lean on active processor time.

Will GG's Blocks run on my Palm Pilot?

Most likely, yes.

GG's Blocks has been written to be backwards compatible all the way back to the dark ages of Palm OS 1.0.

However, as I do not physically own every type of Palm Pilot available, a lot of compatibility testing was not done on real Palm Pilots but was done on a Palm Pilot emulator with the Palm OS ROMs. As such, while it is 97% certain GG's Blocks will run on any of the Palm OS's listed below in the emulators section, I must say I have only actually seen it running on two real Palm Pilots, listed further below in the real Palm section.
